Redlings REE Project

Project data image

The Redlings REE Project (Redlings) is located approximately 40km west of Leonora, and 77km north of Menzies. Lynas Corporation’s Mt Weld Project lies approximately 150km east of the project.

The Project provides Marquee with exciting rare earth element (REE) exploration upside and has all the right characteristics to develop into a key and sizeable asset. Redlings covers an area of approximately 108 square kilometres, with historical rock-chip samples up to 7.8% TREO (refer to the Company’s announcement to ASX on 19 May 2023 for further information).

Redlings is situated over a N-NW trending high magnetic biotite-hornblende monzogranite granite that has intruded into the surrounding granite pluton. A series of NW trending faults run obliquely through the granite which were targeted historically for REE bearing mafic dykes within the Project. This was due to the identification of the Redlings dyke identified during prior exploration activities.

The Company has greatly enhanced the understanding of Redlings through geophysics, geochemistry and drilling and carbonatite intrusions are now interpreted to strike N-NE and the Company will use these recent advancements to identify targets for the discovery of additional REE bearing dykes.

Marquee has undertaken an extensive amount of reconnaissance exploration that has successfully delivered surficial values of up to 7,503 ppm TREO, which were associated with previously unrecognised REE-bearing dykes, and also outlined a sizeable 4.9km by 1.2km zone of anomalism.

From a geological standpoint, individual REE bearing dykes often form part of a larger dyke swarm. The Company is committed to ongoing exploration and development of Redlings and delivering diversified, green metal commodity growth to the Company’s shareholder base.
