Yindi Lithium Project

Project Map

Marquee acquired the Yindi Project (Yindi) in September 2023.

Yindi is an exciting project with significant scale potential and comprises of 301km2 of highly prospective lithium exploration ground. The addition of Yindi to the portfolio solidifies the Company’s lithium landholding in the lithium “Corridor of Power” in Western Australia.

Yindi is located 90km east of Kalgoorlie in the Kurnalpi Terrane of the Eastern Goldfields.

The Project is also located 13km from, and is geologically analogous to, the Manna Lithium Deposit owned by Global Lithium Resources Limited (ASX:GL1). Exploration completed to date has identified the presence of mapped intrusive granites and pegmatites in GSWA geology maps. Approximately 23,233m of drilling (RAB, AC and RC) has been conducted on the tenure and only ~1% assayed for lithium.

Importantly, Yindi has many key geological indicators for exploration success including:

  • Analogous litho-structural setting to known lithium deposits (e.g. Manna Lithium Deposit).
  • Geology dominated by mafic rock types surrounding late-stage granitic intrusions.
  • Presence of mapped intrusive granites and pegmatites in GSWA geology maps.
  • Presence of granitic pegmatites units in historical drillhole logs that have not been assayed for lithium.

Yindi provides Marquee with another exciting lithium project, with significant exploration upside and potential for discovery success. The Company is dedicated to further exploration at Yindi in the near term, with an initial focus on the western tenements and “Prospective Lithium Corridor” that runs N-S for 20km through the tenure.
