The Lone Star Copper-Gold Project is located in Washington State, USA near the Canada-US border. The project is centred on a former producing copper-gold system and includes a defined 3km-long copper-gold mineralised trend with multiple historical workings and exploration targets.

Lone Star contains a JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate of 13.2Mt at 0.42% Cu and 0.23g/t Au for 0.58% CuEq. The Mineral Resource comprises 9.7Mt Indicated at 0.45% Cu and 0.24g/t Au and 3.5Mt Inferred at 0.31% Cu and 0.20g/t Au, reported inside a conceptual pit shell at an internal cut-off grade of 0.112% CuEq.

The independently estimated resource is 73% Indicated and 27% Inferred, extends from surface and remains open at depth. Within the global resource sits a high-grade portion of 1.25Mt at 1.54% Cu and 0.67g/t Au for 2.03% CuEq.
Marquee completed and announced a Preliminary Economic Assessment Study for Lone Star in late November 2023. Given subsequent changes in commodity prices, the Company has disclosed that it is reviewing the economic implications of those changes on the project.
Lone Star remains within Marquee’s portfolio as an established copper-gold resource asset with optionality. The existing MRE, high-grade material, open-at-depth potential and strategic review status are the key themes, with no implication of current development status or a mining decision.
