Sa Pedra Bianca Gold-Silver-Antimony Project

Sa Pedra Bianca is Marquee’s Sardinia gold-silver-antimony project covering a substantial part of the historical Osilo mineralised district in northern Italy.

Key project facts

  • Northern Sardinia, Italy.

  • Option agreements to acquire the Sa Pedra Bianca Project.

  • Project area originally reported at approximately 3,008 hectares, with Research Permit application covering approximately 3,135 hectares.

  • Historical Osilo estimate: 1.65Mt at 7.06g/t Au and 29.7g/t Ag for approximately 376,140oz gold and 1.58Moz silver.

  • Antimony potential identified from historical data review, including semi-continuous anomalous zones at Sa Pala and Pedra Bianca.

  • Research Permit and environmental assessment pathway remain key project milestones.

The Sa Pedra Bianca Gold-Silver-Antimony Project is located in northern Sardinia, Italy. Marquee holds options to acquire the project, which covers a substantial part of the historical Osilo mineralised district and provides exposure to gold, silver and antimony exploration potential in a European jurisdiction.

Marquee entered into option agreements to acquire the Sa Pedra Bianca Project in Sardinia, Italy. The project originally measured approximately 3,008 hectares and overprints a large component of the historical Osilo Project mineralisation, including approximately 70% of the reported gold ounces in the historical Osilo estimate.

The historical Osilo estimate, reported by Gold Mines of Sardinia Ltd in its 2001 Annual Report, contains 1.65Mt at 7.06g/t Au and 29.7g/t Ag for approximately 376,140oz gold and 1.58Moz silver. This is a historical estimate and is not a current JORC 2012 Mineral Resource.

The project is being advanced through the Italian permitting framework. Marquee lodged a Research Permit application on 26 September 2024 covering approximately 3,135 hectares. The Company has also disclosed that the permitting pathway requires environmental assessment work under the VIA procedure, and that the option period has been extended to the earlier of six months following grant of the Research Permit and 31 March 2027.

Sa Pedra Bianca is a gold-silver-antimony project, not a gold-silver project only. A review of historical data identified anomalous antimony across the project, including semi-continuous zones of antimony mineralisation over a strike length of approximately 1.5km at Sa Pala and 400m at Pedra Bianca. Historical datasets include grades up to 6.5% Sb in drilling and channel sampling of 3m at 0.7% Sb from 8m, including 1m at 1.4% Sb.

Once the Research Permit pathway is advanced, Marquee’s stated exploration objective is to complete work aimed at confirming historical drill results that formed the basis of the historical Osilo estimate and to assess the broader gold, silver and antimony potential of the project.

The historical Osilo estimate must be presented with the historical estimate caution: the estimate is not reported in accordance with the JORC Code 2012, a Competent Person has not done sufficient work to classify it as a Mineral Resource under the JORC Code 2012, and it is uncertain whether further exploration will enable the estimate to be reported as a Mineral Resource in accordance with the JORC Code 2012. The page must not imply that drilling is permitted or imminent unless the current permit status supports that statement.
